About the role

Move merchandise throughout the warehouse from receiving to a customer’s car door. Complete required paperwork, tag or mark orders, and carefully load product into trucks or trailers. Slot product as needed and comply with all safety, security, regulatory, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Execute warehouse operational procedures including sorting, loading/unloading, product processing, and documentation.
• Count all inbound product, compare to the manifest, and inspect for damage, infestation, and production dates; report discrepancies to the appropriate manager.
• Verify outgoing shipments for quantity, quality, labeling, and consignee address to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Safely and efficiently operate machinery and equipment, including forklifts, to load/unload product.
• Participate in physical inventories as required.
• Maintain clean, neat, and orderly work areas while promoting safety.
• Assist in maintaining warehouse security.
• Perform Order Filler and Checker duties as needed.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school degree or GED equivalent.
• One year of experience in a related area (e.g., service, production, or support role).
• Experience leveraging technology for daily tasks, including MS Office, web navigation, and basic hardware functions.
• Strong oral and written communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to quickly build rapport with internal teammates and business units.
• Proven track record of taking initiative and accomplishing tasks with urgency and assertiveness.

Physical Demands

• Consistently sit, talk, and hear; climb, crouch, or crawl as necessary.
• Operate equipment using hands and fingers; manually carry and move merchandise.
• Drive or ride in a motor vehicle.
• Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
