Hilo Driver

Move merchandise throughout the warehouse from receiving to a customer’s car door. Complete required paperwork, tag or mark orders, and carefully move product from staging or storage areas into trucks or trailers. Slot and relocate product as needed, ensuring compliance with all safety, security, regulatory, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Execute warehouse operational procedures, including sorting, loading/unloading, product processing, and documentation.
• Count and inspect all inbound shipments for damage, infestation, and production dates; report shortages, overages, or damage to management.
• Verify outgoing shipments for accuracy in quantity, quality, labeling, and consignee address against customer orders.
• Safely operate machinery and equipment to load/unload product; assist with warehouse inventory as required.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work areas; uphold warehouse security protocols.
• Operate a forklift to move, stack, and count merchandise; may perform Order Filler and Checker duties.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One year of experience in a related role (e.g., service, production, or support).
• Proficiency with technology, including MS Office, web navigation, and basic hardware functions.
• Strong oral/written communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly.
• Proven initiative, assertiveness, and ability to work with urgency.

Physical Demands

• Consistently sit, talk, and hear; occasionally climb, crouch, or crawl.
• Operate equipment requiring hand/finger dexterity; manually carry and move merchandise.
• Drive or ride in a motor vehicle.
• Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
