Highway Technician 1 (HT1), Tuscarawas County - PN 20055988

Responsibilities

• Serve the public and work to make the roads in Ohio safer
• Perform highway maintenance activities, including:
  • Flagging
  • Pothole patching
  • Repairing guardrails
  • Litter pickup
  • Mowing
• Perform snow and ice operations

Requirements

• Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition, subtraction, decimals, percentages, and fractions
• Ability to read, write, and speak common English vocabulary
• Three months of training or three months of experience in operation of basic equipment
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction
