Highway Maintenance Foreman I

Responsibilities

• Supervises a group of employees engaged in street cleaning, minor repairs of streets, catch basin cleaning, snow plowing and removal.
• Directs a group of employees in minor repair of streets.
• Directs a group of employees in catch basin cleaning, by hand or machine.
• Directs a group of employees in street cleaning, by hand or machine.
• Directs a group of employees in all work relative to snow plowing and removal.
• Checks to ensure safety measures are used to protect the public and employees such as barriers, lights, etc.
• Maintains records of time expended and work performed by employees under his supervision.

Requirements

• Must hold a Massachusetts driver’s license.
• Must be physically able to drive.

Qualifications

2 Years Of Experience Required In Related Work.
