High-Volume Recruiter
About the Role
Our client runs a large remote contact center and is hiring at a pace most companies only see at peak. We need a high‑volume recruiter who can move fast without cutting corners, keep pipelines full across several lines of business at once, and hold their own in a room with senior leaders. This is not a sourcing role. Applicants come in fast; 300+ on a single requisition over a weekend is normal. The job is working through that volume carefully, catching what doesn’t add up, and turning the right people into offers. At peak, you’ll own 10 to 15 offers a week.
Responsibilities
- Review high volumes of inbound applicants in Workday one profile at a time, with real scrutiny, not skimming.
- Spot inconsistencies in work history, credentials, location, and identity, and escalate suspected fraudulent applicants before they reach the offer stage.
- Run on‑camera virtual screens in Microsoft Teams, including live technology and internet speed verification.
- Walk candidates through pay, schedules, and training attendance requirements so there are no surprises after the offer.
- Manage assessments, verbal offers, and onboarding in Workday, and coordinate background checks and drug screens.
- Hit weekly offer targets tied to training class start dates, usually on a three‑week lead time.
- Support four contact center lines of business, including customer care and retention, often with competing hiring needs in the same week.
- Lead weekly hiring updates with each line of business’s leadership team: pipeline status, risks, and what you need from them.
Requirements
- Track record in high‑volume recruiting, ideally producing 10 or more offers per week.
- Experience hiring for contact center, customer service, or other hourly roles at volume, in‑house or agency.
- Sharp judgment and attention to detail; ability to notice when an application doesn’t hold together and ask follow‑up questions.
- Executive presence; able to drive conversations with senior leaders and not be intimidated by titles.
- Comfort with volume that swings week to week.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and Office.
