High Voltage Team Lead

About the role

Team Lead will work directly with operations to support production needs around production control and planning of machines in their designated area of responsibility. Responsibilities include coordinating a seamless production flow related to raw materials, work in process material, and finished goods transfer.

Responsibilities

• Support Southwire’s Culture of Zero by demonstrating safe and quality-conscious work habits, using tools properly, and turning in safety touch points.
• Coordinate training activities for new hires, supplement training, and provide 30/60/90 progress feedback to supervisors.
• Provide hands-on assistance in troubleshooting and eliminating process issues, supporting day-to-day operations, and driving cost reduction (e.g., dimensional control, manufacturing methods).
• Actively participate in the DHP process, conduct cell-level huddles, and coordinate with support staff to resolve problems.
• Verify hour-by-hour production rates and perform other activities as directed by plant leadership.

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to escalate issues when necessary.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (preferred).
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
