High Voltage Electrician - USA

What You’ll Be Doing

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair high-voltage systems on heavy mobile equipment
• Troubleshoot and respond to electrical breakdowns in the field and in-pit
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing on OEM equipment (surface & underground)
• Service and repair electric haul trucks and support equipment
• Install, maintain, and repair transformers, switchgear, motors, and HV cabling
• Conduct 24V and HV diagnostics, testing, and component replacement
• Use testing tools like multimeters, insulation testers, and earth testers
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and control circuits
• Work across major OEMs including Sandvik, CAT, Epiroc, Hitachi, Komatsu
• Support operations by reducing downtime and keeping machines moving
• Apply strong electrical safety standards (LOTO, arc flash, PPE)

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of high-voltage experience on mining equipment (UG or surface)
• Strong experience with Sandvik equipment (jumbos, bolters, trucks highly preferred)
• Ability to work FIFO across the U.S. on a 2/1, 2/2, or 7/7 rotation
• Solid troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in high-pressure environments
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment requirements
• Experience with automation systems or autonomous mining equipment preferred
• Exposure to large-scale mining projects or commissioning work preferred
• MSHA Electrical Certification preferred
