Essential Functions
- Daily on-site attendance.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems including motors, drives, lighting, control panels, and power distribution equipment.
- Diagnose electrical failures using meters, schematics, and test equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical components of production equipment and facility systems.
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Support PLC-controlled equipment by troubleshooting I/O, sensors, relays, and field wiring.
- Perform lockout/tagout and electrical safety procedures in compliance with OSHA and NFPA 70E.
- Assist with new equipment installation, startup, and electrical commissioning.
- Identify and correct unsafe electrical conditions and code violations.
- Document maintenance and repairs in the CMMS.
- Clock in/out system.
- Clock out system.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Facilities team on power, utility, and equipment issues.
- Support facility electrical systems including lighting, transformers, panels, generators, and grounding systems.
- Absorb and respond to emergency electrical issues to restore power and equipment operation quickly and safely.

Environment / Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and access electrical panels and equipment.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in tight spaces.
- Exposure to electrical hazards, noise, and industrial environments.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with availability for off-shift or emergency response as required. Overtime or weekend work may be required based on equipment or facility needs.
Travel
- No travel required.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical certifications, electrical apprenticeship, or trade school training desired but not required.
- 3+ years of industrial or commercial electrical experience preferred.
- Experience working in manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with PLCs, motor controls, and industrial electrical systems a plus.
