High School Math Teacher 2022-2023

Job Description

Walter L. Cohen College Prep is searching for a High School Math Teacher for the 2022 - 2023 school year. This individual will be expected to provide an educational atmosphere where scholars of various academic levels can develop a strong understanding and appreciation for the subject matter. He/she will create an environment that encourages learning and will explore various academic concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design classroom instruction using research-based strategies
• Frequently analyze results from multiple sources to drive instruction
• Work with students to remediate gaps
• Maintain school culture of high behavioral expectations
• Maintain frequent communication with student families

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (required).
• Teacher Certification or certification eligible (preferred).
• Background and/or content related coursework (required).
• Experience working in urban schools (preferred)

Benefits
