High School Drivers Education Teacher

About the role

The Seasonal Driver's Education Teacher position is available at Dawson County High School for the 26-27 school year. Glendive Public Schools offers a comprehensive benefits package including full family health insurance and dental with a minimal employee contribution. Vision and life insurance are also available. The District allows the successful applicant to bring up to ten (10) years of teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach Driver’s Education classes to high school students
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during classroom and field activities
• Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to support student learning
• Adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
• Maintain accurate records and report grades as required

Requirements

• A Montana Teacher Certificate with a proper endorsement
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for education and a commitment to student success

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Experience in teaching Driver’s Education or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of Montana Driver’s Education laws and regulations

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
