About the Role

Performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act, utilizing therapeutic communication, maintaining a safe environment, and identifying nursing problems. Demonstrates age-specific knowledge of human development, assessment, and care, while ensuring patient privacy and confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI). Uses the nursing process to develop and document individualized care plans, performs technical skills, follows procedures, and applies critical thinking. Provides care aligned with the hospital’s mission and vision.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (B.S. or A.S.)
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience
• Labor and Delivery experience preferred
• Current licensure by the relevant Nursing Board
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN levels, CPI (within 6 months)
