Qualifications
- Required: HS diploma or GED, 4 years in Behavioral Health or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year case management experience strongly preferred.
- Certification in first aid, CPR, and Crisis De-escalation (training will be offered if not possessed upon hire).
- At least 21 years of age or older.
- Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.
- Prior experience in the behavioral health setting is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated organizational abilities to maintain communication, coordination, and connections with clinical team participants.
- Willingness to work evenings as needed.
- Desire and capacity to maintain time-management and organization while working in a fast-paced, hands-on work environment.
- Must obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card and pass a pre-employment drug and background check.
- Have a Tuberculosis screening test and provide evidence of freedom from infectious tuberculosis prior to providing services, with annual TB testing or screening questionnaires.
- Mental and Emotional Ability: Prioritize workload, sound judgment and decision-making ability, demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills, analyze variables and situations, resolve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure, think on one's feet in the public spotlight.
- Physical Abilities: Long periods of sitting, ability to bend, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, operate phone, Fax, copier, and a computer, operate Agency vehicle.
- Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish), Experience working in Integrated Healthcare, Behavioral Health, or Primary Care environment, Advanced knowledge of cultural diversity and sensitivity.
