Responsibilities
The Director of Nursing (DON) position is responsible for the management of the nursing department, including staffing, direction, monitoring, and evaluation of the total nursing care program. The DON is accountable for directly supervising nursing services, which includes oversight/review of work and documentation of the nursing department, including RNs, LPNs, and administrative staff.
The right person should have knowledge of management principles and techniques as applied to nursing administration. The successful candidate will have the ability to maintain clinical and administrative records, prepare related reports, and communicate relevant medical information regarding the individuals supported at HHC to internal and external stakeholders.
Must be detail-oriented, have good time management skills, possess leadership skills, work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams on and off the facility setting, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri
- 3+ years of experience as a registered nurse
- 2+ years of supervisory experience

Pay
$51,854.88 annually/$2,160.62 per pay period
Schedule
Scheduled to work 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with Saturday and Sunday as days off. This position will require some on-call responsibilities and a flexible schedule to meet coverage and facility needs.
