HHA/CNA - Fort Myers

Responsibilities

• Aid clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and friendly environment.
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Aid with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
• Prepare and serve meals according to clients' dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and other outings, as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care provided.

Requirements

• 40 Hr Certificate, Active HHA
• 75 hour certificate, CNA license (Required)
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Current CPR certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skill proficiency.
• Ability to use Microsoft Windows.

Background Screening Requirement

Background Screening Requirement: Employment in Florida is contingent upon completion of a Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida AHCA requirements.
