HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver

About the role

Long-haul UK freight delivery with bay-to-bay drop-and-go operations (no manual handling). You will drive modern fleet vehicles, perform daily vehicle checks, and use SNAP accounts and fuel cards for efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver freight across the UK using bay-to-bay drop-and-go methods.
• Drive modern fleet vehicles while adhering to road safety, company policies, and journey planning.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report issues to maintain fleet reliability.
• Use SNAP accounts and fuel cards for efficient operations.
• Work five consecutive shifts, including some weekends and overnight tramping.

Requirements

• Full UK C+E License (Class 1) with a minimum of 2 years HGV experience.
• Clean license preferred; up to 6 points accepted with no serious endorsements.
• Knowledge of UK road laws, Highway Code, and HGV regulations.
• Fluent in English and eligible to work in the UK.
• Pass pre-employment screening, including drug, alcohol tests, and background check.
