HGV Class 1 Driver / Workshop Assistant (Thursday – Sunday) - Norwich NEW

About the role

Ford and Slater are one the UK's largest DAF Truck dealers group with 16 locations from Norwich to Birtley in the North East, employing over 900 staff whilst remaining a family run business. We currently have a vacancy for an HGV Class 1 Driver (Collection and Delivery) in the fantastic team at our DAF Trucks dealership in Norwich.

Responsibilities

This is a duel role - Collection / delivery of vehicles from / to customers within Norwich and the surrounding area. Ad hoc longer journeys to other Ford & Slater dealerships. Occasional road testing of vehicles (subject to licence restrictions). Steam cleaning Trucks. General Workshop caretaker duties when not driving.

Requirements

• You must hold a valid UK Class 1 licence (ideally clean).
• Be a customer focused individual with excellent communication skills.
• Any mechanical knowledge would be an advantage but not essential.
• PC Literate.

Pay & Schedule

Shift pattern: Thursday to Sunday, 07:30 – 18:00 (with a 30 minute unpaid break each shift)
