This includes planning and conducting analyses to address key questions related to disease prevalence, burden and progression, healthcare resource utilization and costs, and treatment patterns in real-world patient populations. The role also involves providing methodological expertise in research design, including development of study protocols, analysis plans, and table shells, and collaborating with statistical programmers to execute data queries and analyses.
The Associate Director may contribute to global product value strategy, post-hoc clinical trial analyses, and evidence generation studies. The role offers flexibility to be in-person, hybrid, or remote.

- Contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of internal analytic tools (e.g., programming libraries, reusable macros, table templates) to support data quality and consistency.
- Support HEOR disease/asset leads in assessing research gaps and evidence generation objectives addressable through observational research.

- Strong knowledge of observational research methods and their application to studies assessing disease burden, healthcare resource utilization, treatment patterns, comorbidities, and health outcomes in real-world patient populations.
- Demonstrated experience applying claims-based analytic methods in epidemiologic research, including disease prevalence estimation and evaluation of patient populations using real-world data sources.
- Hands-on experience analyzing large patient-level healthcare datasets, including open and closed claims, EHR/EMR data, and hospital chargemaster data (e.g., MarketScan, PharMetrics Plus, eLAAD+, Premier).
- Working knowledge of national healthcare coding systems, including diagnostic, procedure, and drug coding, as well as relevant healthcare system structures.
