About the role
The Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) Data Analytics Research Associate will support BD’s Corporate HEOR function, focusing on data analytics and outcomes research. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to generate real-world evidence and demonstrate the value of BD’s products.
Responsibilities
- Conduct complex data analysis using real-world data to support HEOR and epidemiologic studies.
- Identify and characterize data anomalies.
- Develop written protocols, statistical analysis plans, study reports, and scientific materials (e.g., abstracts, manuscripts).
- Present study designs and results to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams to execute and deliver projects accurately, effectively, and on time.
Requirements
- A postgraduate degree (MS or MPH) in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related field with 1–2 years of post-graduate training experience.
- Authorization to legally live and work in the United States.
Skills
- Proficiency in inspecting, cleaning, transforming, and modeling datasets using statistical software platforms.
- Experience with healthcare databases (e.g., claims, EMR).
- Strong prioritization, goal-setting, and time-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
- Experience with SAS.
