Hematopathologist
Responsibilities
The Hematopathologist position includes work between the Burnham lab and hospital settings. The position works as part of the greater West Business Unit with a group of 17+ pathologists (including 3 hematopathologists, 3 cytopathologists, and 3 dermatopathologists) to service hematopathology cases (bone marrow biopsies, lymph node biopsies/excisions, flow cytometry interpretation, and peripheral blood smear reviews). The selected candidate will also sign-out general surgical pathology cases.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree, Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology; Board Certified or Eligible in Hematology Pathology
- 3 years post-fellowship experience (preferred)
- Must hold or be able to obtain valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of NV
