Hematology Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Springfield Region
Position Highlights
Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including hematologists/oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
Provide care outpatient and inpatient care to Hematology patients undergoing active treatment, surveillance, follow-ups, sick visits, and respond to infusion areas rapid response needs.
Educate patients and families about managing side effects and maintaining quality of life.

Strong mentorship is available, with opportunities to participate in clinical research and contribute to the development of best practices and evidence-based guidelines in hematology and oncology.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant program from an accredited institution.
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Advanced certification in oncology or hematology preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hematology/oncology or a related field; new graduates with a strong clinical background and interest in oncology will be considered.

Pay
The compensation ranges in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience.
