Hematology / Oncology - Locum Tenens

About the Role

This position is based in a cancer center with 85 beds, serving adult patients. The role involves providing outpatient Hematology/Oncology care, managing Bone Marrow Transplants, and treating solid tumors such as Lung, GI, and GU cancers.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient Hematology/Oncology care
• Manage Bone Marrow Transplants
• Treat solid tumors (Lung, GI, GU cancers)
• Participate in tumor boards
• Utilize onsite labs and X-ray services

Schedule

Wednesdays to Fridays, 8 am to 5 pm, with mandatory tumor board attendance on Wednesdays at 1 pm.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
• Active MO or IMLC license (reimbursement provided after 10 shifts)

Skills

• Experience with outpatient Hematology/Oncology
• Experience managing Bone Marrow Transplants
• Experience treating solid tumors
