Hematology / Oncology - Locum Tenens

About the Role

Provide comprehensive cancer care for lung, colon, breast, and prostate cancers. Manage 12-18 patients daily with support from a multidisciplinary team including a Hematology/Oncology physician, Radiation Oncologist, and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Work primarily on weekdays, with call coverage involving mostly phone consults. Utilize advanced technology such as True Beam Radiation Oncology services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive cancer care for lung, colon, breast, and prostate cancers.
• Manage a daily patient load of 12-18 individuals.
• Collaborate with a team including a Hematology/Oncology physician, Radiation Oncologist, and APPs.
• Provide call coverage primarily through phone consults.
• Utilize advanced medical technology, including True Beam Radiation Oncology services.

Requirements

• Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology.
• Active Ohio medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) eligibility.
• Proficiency with Athena EMR.
