About the role

We are recruiting for a clinical faculty Assistant Professor with a commitment to a career in benign or non-malignant hematology. Our team specializes in diagnosing and treating non-cancerous blood disorders in cancer patients, as well as assessing and managing individuals with non-malignant blood conditions outside the cancer context.

Physicians with experience in clinical and/or basic science research, especially in cancer-associated thrombosis, are strongly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will engage in non-malignant hematology research and scholarly activity to enhance the academic environment of the institution. The selected candidate will also become familiar with appropriate funding mechanisms to support cancer-related benign hematology research and assist with mentoring young faculty, fellows, and other trainees.

The candidate will have protected time to lead and develop programs, perform research, and complete scholarly activities in keeping with the goals of the Section. Faculty rank and protected research time will be provided consistent with experience and qualifications.
