About the role
Seeking a Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist for outpatient clinic duties in Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology care during clinic hours (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
- Manage a patient caseload of 10-30 adults daily.
- Conduct patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and manage hematologic and oncologic conditions.
- Follow a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off schedule with call responsibilities during assigned weeks.
Requirements
- Board certification in Medical Oncology.
- Experience managing adult patients in outpatient settings.
- Strong clinical evaluation and treatment planning skills.
Schedule
- Clinic hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
- 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule with call responsibilities during assigned weeks.
Additional Details
- Work location is on-site in a facility part of a large health system.
- Position may be locum or locums-to-perm.
- Call duties are included, with no new consults expected.
