Hematologist/Oncologist - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

We are seeking a licensed, board-certified Hematologist/Oncologist to provide inpatient and outpatient care in a large hospital setting. The role involves managing a clinical case mix of 60% hematology and 40% oncology, serving adult and geriatric patients. All clinical documentation will be maintained via the Epic EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Manage a clinical case mix of 60% hematology and 40% oncology for adult and geriatric patients.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic EMR system.
• Oversee chemotherapy administration.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Schedule

This is a four-day work week with call responsibilities on a 1:3 rotation covering evenings and weekends.

Support Structure

The clinician will be supported by a team including three physicians, two advanced practice providers (APPs), a radiation oncologist, and a nurse oncologist.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Hematology and Oncology.
• Experience in hematology and oncology.

Skills

• Clinical documentation using Epic EMR.
