Hematologist/Oncologist - Locum Tenens Coverage

We are seeking a qualified MD to provide locum hematology and oncology coverage in a structured outpatient cancer center. The role involves managing both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a typical caseload of approximately 16 adult patients per day. The clinician will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, dedicating 4.5 days to clinic and a half-day to administrative tasks. Call coverage is required at a 1:4 ratio, including one week per month of inpatient rounding and weekend duties. The position requires board certification and prescriptive authority, with all documentation managed via the EPIC EMR system. Support staff includes clinical pharmacy, nurse navigator, social work, behavioral health, and a cancer infusion team, facilitating comprehensive patient care. Ideal candidates will possess strong clinical skills in hematology and oncology, excellent communication abilities, and experience with multidisciplinary teams.
