Hematologist/Oncologist - Locum Tenens Coverage

Seeking a board-certified Medical Doctor (MD) for outpatient hematology and oncology services in a structured clinic environment. Responsibilities Include Providing adult outpatient care, including evaluation and management of hematologic and oncologic conditions.Managing approximately 20-25 patient encounters daily with scheduled 15-minute appointments.Offering phone-only call coverage, shared among physicians, primarily during daytime hours.Collaborating with a team of three Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and dedicated nursing staff to ensure coordinated patient care.Handling a small number of new consultations (0-2 per day). Qualifications And Skills Board certification in relevant specialty.Ability to work independently in an outpatient setting.Strong communication and team collaboration skills. Work Environment And Schedule On-site outpatient clinic, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, working 4 to 4.5 days per week with flexible half-day options.Support staff includes three APPs and dedicated nurses.Role involves outpatient treatment for adult patients, with a focus on hematology and oncology.
