Hematologist/Oncologist Locum Tenens

Seeking a physician to provide outpatient care in a clinic setting with Monday - Thursday clinic days from 8 am to 4:30 pm . The role involves seeing 16-20 adult patients daily, primarily for consults, follow-up care, and antineoplastic oversight. Responsibilities include phone call coverage only with 1 week and 1 weekend call per month . The provider will collaborate with hospitalists who admit inpatients, in a setting with a low hospital census . Qualifications include experience in outpatient care, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage adult patients. Key duties involve patient consultations, follow-up, and overseeing antineoplastic treatments, ensuring quality patient care. Compensation is competitive , with paid malpractice insurance, and pre-paid travel and housing expenses. The role offers 24-hour access to a dedicated healthcare consultant.
