Locum Tenens Hematologist/Oncologist

About the role

This role involves providing specialized hematology care, with a focus on malignant hematology and a preference for Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) experience. You will manage 10-15 outpatient cases and approximately 4 inpatient cases daily, primarily treating chronic leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and acute leukemia.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient consultations and manage inpatient care
• Handle 10-15 outpatient cases and approximately 4 inpatient cases daily
• Participate in on-call duties during weekdays (no weekend responsibilities)
• Maintain hospital privileges

Requirements

• Prior malignant hematology experience (required)
• Benign hematology experience (a plus)
• Hospital privileges
