Summary

LifeBridge Health, a Cancer Center of Excellence, is seeking a hematologist-oncologist to join their team at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. A brand new, state-of-the-art cancer center will open in 2026, providing medical, radiation, and palliative oncology under one roof. The center focuses on exploratory care and balancing quality of life. Physicians will have the opportunity to lead clinical trials to conduct groundbreaking research.

About the Role

Employed, full-time position. Leadership potential for an experienced oncologist. The new cancer center will be approximately 80,000 sq. ft., with 32 infusion spaces, 16 exam rooms, 2 radiation oncology linacs, 1 HDR, and 1 CT simulator. Clinical research program opportunities exist, including teaching George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences medical students and Sinai Internal Medicine residents. An academic appointment with the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences is possible.

Responsibilities

• Build, grow, and shape a developing Cancer Program
• Lead clinical trials to conduct groundbreaking research
• Participate in a multi-disciplinary care team comprised of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), social workers, oncology dietitian, genetic counselor, financial counselors, and onsite radiation oncology
• Provide palliative care and hospice services

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited internal medicine residency
• Completion of an accredited hematology/oncology fellowship
• Possess or be able to obtain an unrestricted Maryland medical license
• Board certified or board eligible in hematology/oncology
