Helpdesk Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide fast, friendly Tier I tech support to staff and visitors
  • Acknowledge all incoming requests within an hour and triage appropriately
  • Document incidents and troubleshooting steps in the ticketing system
  • Contribute to internal wiki documentation
  • Assist with hardware procurement and asset management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1-3 years in customer-facing IT support
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with ticketing systems and VoIP phone support
  • Advanced Windows 10/11 troubleshooting; basic Mac OS X troubleshooting
  • Basic understanding of network infrastructure (DHCP, DNS, static/dynamic IP, NAT)
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 cloud administration
  • Typing speed of 70+ wpm
  • Hybrid schedule: on-site in DeSoto, TX three days/week

Pay

$60,000 - $65,000 annually
