About the role

Volunteer with Northern Virginia Family Services’ Hunger Resource Center to help families in need by sorting, packing, and distributing food, as well as cleaning and maintaining the warehouse. This effort supports over 40,000 families across Northern Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Sort food donations
• Pack food parcels for distribution
• Distribute food to families in need
• Clean and maintain the warehouse environment

Requirements

• Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to volunteer independently
• Volunteers aged 14‑15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

Schedule

• Tuesday evenings
• Wednesday evenings
• Thursday afternoons
• No weekend shifts are currently available
