About the role
Volunteers are needed to assist with various tasks related to food pantry operations at Midtown Family Services.
Responsibilities
- Assist with unloading donated food from delivery vans
- Cart the food into the Midtown Family Services' office
- Weigh the food
- Put the food onto shelves or into a refrigerator or freezer
- Cart the cardboard boxes out to the recycling bin
The ability to speak a second language, particularly Spanish or Vietnamese, is a plus.
Requirements
Please wear sturdy closed-toed shoes. A volunteer waiver and a Confidentiality agreement are required.
Qualifications
