About the role
The Help Desk Technician I position at The Rudolph/Libbe Companies, Inc. in Walbridge, OH is responsible for providing technical support to end-users through phone, email, and remote access. Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote access.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to computers, printers, and other office equipment.
- Document and track incidents, resolutions, and follow-up actions using the company’s IT ticketing system.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as virus scans, updates, and backups.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the technology infrastructure.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and common applications.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
