Help Desk Technician

About the role

The Help Desk at KIOTI Tractor troubleshoots problems and assists customers and employees in resolving technical issues related to computers, desktops, phones, laptops, and other devices. This position handles configuring, testing, and troubleshooting basic network and wireless issues, setting up user accounts, and preparing desktop and laptop computers.

Responsibilities

• New hire setup, including mailbox setup, activating access badges, account creation, and workstation setup
• Identify and resolve hardware and software problems related to Office365, file systems, laptops, and barcode scanners
• Train and guide employees on hardware and software usage
• Manage employee asset inventory, such as tracking serial numbers
• Ensure on-hand user assets (e.g., laptops) are ordered and set up for deployment
• Document procedures and cases using a ticketing system
• Support the Systems Administrator on environmental projects related to VMWare, Dynamics SL, RingCentral, Active Directory, server maintenance, printing, and Windows Server 2019 maintenance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 1–3 years of equivalent work experience or certifications
• Experience with Windows 10, Office 365, laptops, and Bluetooth headsets
• Experience with basic Windows environment administration using Active Directory
• Experience with file systems and file explorer or a SAN/NAS
• Experience with IPv4 networking

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic Mailbox Administration for Exchange Online
• Experience working with ERP software
• Experience working with CRM software
