About the role
The Help Desk Support Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Grove City, OH.
Responsibilities
- Provides frontline technical support for desktop computers, peripherals, and related systems, responding to user requests via phone, email, and ticketing tools.
- Diagnostics and resolves hardware and software issues, performs basic computer repair, and escalates complex problems to higher-level support when needed.
- Installs and configures equipment, maintains accurate documentation of support activities, ensures timely resolution of help desk tickets in accordance with service standards.
- Collaborates with IT team members and internal stakeholders to support a reliable, secure, and efficient technology environment.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Desktop Computers and Computer Repair, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Experience with Help Desk Support and Technical Support, providing customer-focused assistance and issue resolution.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues using structured diagnostic methods.
- Knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows), basic networking concepts, and common business applications.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
- Organizational and time-management skills, including managing multiple tickets and priorities.
- Ability to work on-site in Grove City, OH, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing or production environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree, technical certification (e.g., CompTIA A+), or related IT coursework preferred.
