About the role
The Help Desk Intern will learn how to deliver supreme customer service while supporting BHG’s Corporate and Field team members and treatment centers. The position provides exposure to computer disciplines including Service Desk, Desktop Software Support, Computer Operations, and others.
Responsibilities
- Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems
- Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
- Organize and maintain IT resources
- Lend IT support in areas such as cybersecurity, programming, analytics, and data center management
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulatory bodies, as well as accrediting agencies
- Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory agency requirements
- Comply with all accrediting agencies
- Participate in community and public relations activities as assigned
- Attend and complete all required trainings as assigned by manager
- Continuous exploration of knowledge through related field
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled in a degree program closely related to the field
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems
- Self-starter with good time management and prioritization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organization, presentation, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of IT systems, software, and procedures
- Problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or escalate if necessary
- Ability to handle multiple tasks on a day-to-day basis
- Strong organizational and management skills when dealing with company hardware

Physical Requirements

- Ability to sit for long periods of time, some bending, stooping, and stretching
- Variable workload, periodic high stress, and activity level
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Keyboarding for long periods of time
