Volunteer Drivers Needed
Help us provide essential transportation services to victims and their children fleeing domestic abuse. Our mission is to ensure that victims can safely leave abusive situations and begin rebuilding their lives.
- Drive victims to domestic violence shelters across the region
- Organize road trips to family homes in other states
- Purchase multi-state bus tickets
- Provide fuel assistance for relocation
About the Role
Families to Freedom operates out of two offices in Dallas and Houston, serving victims and new survivors across North Texas, East Texas, and the Gulf Coast area. We aim to assist over 900 victims and children annually.
Requirements
To become a volunteer driver, you must:
- Be at least 21 years old
- Have a good driving record
- Pass a background check
- Have a compassionate heart

Schedule
Weekday daytime availability is most needed, but flexible schedules are considered.
