Helix Operator - 1st Shift

Role Responsibilities

• Read work order and understand how to assemble.
• Review work order and determine descriptions match analytical format.
• Notify lead/supervisor of any discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventories of tube lengths, cores and roll goods.
• Verify Bill of Material is accurate with exact counts of the work order transferring down to the next process.
• Assemble/clean/box helix racks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Document pertinent information on the work order (i.e. scrap, quality concerns etc.).
• Facilitate “hot” orders that come through your area from other areas of the business.
• Execute other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• A combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma, or equivalent.
• Communicate effectively with all plant employees.
• Problem solve efficiently and effectively.
• Work effectively with limited supervision.
• Retain knowledge of the department of operation.
• Make sound decisions.
• Maintain consistent high quality in work habits.
• Maintain accurate records.
