About the role
- Drive company vehicles safely and efficiently
- Load and unload cargo according to safety guidelines
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure compliance with all regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other drivers
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy trucks in various weather conditions
- Ensure cargo is loaded and secured properly
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations
- Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding deliveries
- Complete necessary paperwork and reports accurately
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- At least 2 years of driving experience
- Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Passing DOT physical exam
- Excellent communication skills
Qualifications
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Experience with GPS navigation systems
