This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

About the Role

As a journey-level Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanic, you will perform the full range of overhaul and repair work on heavy-duty mobile equipment and vehicles powered by internal combustion engines (gasoline, butane, diesel, or multi-fuel).

Responsibilities

• Perform overhaul and repair work on heavy-duty mobile equipment and vehicles.
• Maintain and repair internal combustion engines, including gasoline, butane, diesel, or multi-fuel systems.
