About the Role

As a Heavy Equipment Operator at Beacon Recycling, you'll primarily operate material handlers, loaders, forklifts, balers, and other processing equipment to support daily yard operations in Grand Rapids and Wyoming. You'll sort and stage materials, load trucks and railcars, assist with processing activities, and help maintain efficient material flow throughout the yard. While equipment operation is the primary focus of the role, you'll also support other operational activities as needed, including material identification, customer unloading assistance, and general yard operations.

Requirements

• Experience with heavy equipment, scrap recycling, construction, manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial settings
• Attention to detail and safety awareness
• Adaptability and willingness to help wherever needed
• Strong equipment operation skills and a commitment to efficiency and quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
