Essential Job Functions
- Assembles, dissembles, and repair mobile equipment and their system’s components.
- Tear down, replace, repair, and install equipment parts, components, and accessories.
- Diagnoses and determines failure or disruption of mobile equipment and their systems.
- Diagnose mechanical problems, replace and/or repair parts, test and adjust.
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance.
Qualifications
- Ability to Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of heavy equipment
- Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, braking systems, electrical systems, drivelines, steering mechanisms, and suspensions.
- Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, climb or crawl under or on top of equipment.
- Ability to manipulate components in hard-to-reach places with hands or tools.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
