Heavy Highway Senior Project Manager - VA Beach

About the role

A leading heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major highway and bridge construction projects in the Virginia Beach area.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and procurement
• Lead project teams and coordinate closely with field operations
• Track costs, change orders, risks, and overall performance
• Maintain relationships with owners, engineers, and inspectors

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience in heavy civil construction
• Strong background in heavy highway, bridge, structural concrete, or transportation projects
• Experience managing large, complex infrastructure projects
• Strong financial, leadership, and communication skills
• VDOT project experience preferred
