Heavy Equipment Technician

Rental Equipment Field Technician Service and maintain rental machinery in the field, including inspecting equipment, diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues, and performing preventive maintenance and repairs. Respond to customer service calls and ensure equipment is operating safely and correctly. Key Duties Inspect rental equipment and troubleshoot faults across multiple systems (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine)Perform preventive maintenance, service, and repairsRespond to customer needs and resolve equipment-related issuesDocument work performed, parts used, and equipment conditionCommunicate clearly with customers and internal team membersFollow a safety-first approach in all on-site tasks Qualifications & Skills Hands-on mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skillsAbility to diagnose and repair equipment systems (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, engine)Customer-focused communication and professionalism in the fieldAccurate maintenance/service documentation skillsCommitment to safety and safe work practices
