Heavy Equipment Technician

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy machinery in construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair various types of heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and cranes.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and manuals.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects.

Skills

• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic systems.

Pay

• $50,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule
