Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and vehicles, such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, and brake repairs.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Complete necessary repairs and replacements on engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and vehicles to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate and detailed service records and reports.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, providing updates on repair progress and recommendations for preventative maintenance.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols in the shop and on job sites.
- Stay current with industry advancements and changes in technology.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a heavy equipment technician, with strong knowledge of diesel engines and equipment.
- Must have own tools and a valid driver’s license.
- Experience in the auto industry is preferred.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
- Must be able to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods.
Pay
Competitive hourly wages based on experience and qualifications.

Full-time, hourly position.
