As a Heavy Equipment Technician at Earthborne, you'll play an important role in keeping our customers' equipment operating safely and efficiently. You'll work on a wide variety of modern construction and heavy equipment while developing your skills and staying current with the latest technology. Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair construction and heavy equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance, routine service, and mechanical repairs
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, electronic, drivetrain, and mechanical systems
- Use diagnostic tools and technology to accurately identify equipment issues
- Complete repairs efficiently, accurately, and to Earthborne's high standards
- Communicate equipment issues, repair recommendations, and job status with the Service Manager and Shop Foreman
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Deliver a high level of workmanship and customer service on every job
Requirements
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Experience with construction or heavy equipment preferred
- Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical/electronic systems, and drivetrains
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving
