Responsibilities
- Work on all makes and models of construction and forestry equipment in the shop ensuring equipment repairs are done accurately and timely.
- Support customers and maximize equipment uptime.
- Analyze and diagnose equipment malfunctions or failures.
- Repair, replace or rebuild engines, transmissions, carburetors, final drives, steering, clutches, cross shafts, hydraulic components including pump motors, valves, and all related components, electrical systems, and air systems.
- Assist with pre‑delivery setup and installation on all makes and models of John Deere equipment and allied products.
- Work alongside other trained Mechanics in a well‑supported shop to perform top‑notch work and advance your career.
Requirements
- 3 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing all makes and models of new and used heavy equipment.
- Team‑oriented personality with the focus and drive to work without direct supervision.
- Discipline and skill to complete a technical diagnostic and repair training program.
- Must provide own tools.
- Must successfully pass a
