Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic / Technician

About the Role

Ditch Witch West, the premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking Shop Technicians to join their team in Portland. As a Shop Technician, you will work on heavy trenching and construction equipment in the shop, ensuring equipment repairs are done accurately and timely to support our customers and maximize their uptime. You will work alongside other trained Technicians in a shop equipped with all the support and resources needed to perform top-notch work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair construction or other heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulics and electrical components.
• Perform accurate and timely equipment repairs to maximize customer uptime.

Requirements

• 2 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing construction or other heavy equipment.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing hydraulics and electrical components.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation.
• Must provide own tools.

Pay

$28-50/hr (depending on experience).
